Smart Tag Reader
The SmartTag Reader is an electronic reading device that retrieves information from SmartTags and provides process and status data to operators and Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) via infrared signals. Operating on principles similar to RFID technology, the SmartTag Reader uses infrared (IR) communication to identify tags and read stored information. It is primarily designed for semiconductor wafer fab applications.
